Inpatient Care Some patients with cancer need care in a hospital. WOHG doctors have earned admitting privileges at a number of hospitals in Westchester including:
At most of the hospitals, WOHG doctors participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning meetings called “Tumor Boards” where specialists from different disciplines come together to formulate the best possible treatment plan for patients. These hospitals have specially designated areas staffed by professionals who are trained to meet your special cancer care needs. These caregivers consult regularly and directly with WOHG doctors to plan and carry out the plan for your care. While you are in the hospital, our team visits regularly and works to prepare you for an early and confident return home with the information you and your family need for successful at home management. We also coordinate with community agencies and pharmacies to make sure you have all of the medications, supplies and services you need for self care.

Outpatient Care Most of our patients receive
treatment and care as outpatients. Because we understand how difficult
it can be
to travel
from one place to
another for medical consultations, laboratory tests and other diagnostic
studies, we have opened our offices near or in the same place as
other medical services so you have the advantages of “one-stop-shopping” care.
When you visit us, you will find that our offices are comfortable,
calm, and convenient; and that we have all of the latest equipment
for delivering safe and efficient treatment. Our offices include
comfortable waiting areas, laboratory facilities, generously-sized
examination rooms, and specially outfitted treatment suites where
we administer therapy, give transfusions, and harvest cells. To help
patients stay as close to home as possible, we have three fully staffed
offices located through-out Westchester: Mid Westchester close
