Yalamanchili M.D.
Dr. Yalamanchili, a new member of WOHG,
is an attending physician at Westchester Medical Center,
Hudson Valley Hospital Center, and Phelps Memorial Hospital.
He studied at the Jawaharlal Institute in India where he
received post graduate recognitions in biochemistry and
physiology, did fellowship training in nuclear cardiology
at Columbia University and in oncology/hematology at New
York Medical College where he received recognition for
exemplary performance and served as Chief Fellow in the
Division of Oncology and Hematology. Dr. Yalamanchili is
expert in the management of solid tumors and has particular
interest in lymphomas, breast and gastrointestinal cancers.
At Westchester Medical Center he leads the Gastrointestinal
and Liver Cancer Tumor Board. In addition to malignant
diseases, Dr. Yalamanchili also has background and training
in computer systems and cardiology. As Assistant Professor
of Medicine at New York Medical Center, Dr. Yalamanchili
teaches and mentors medical students, interns and residents.
His research interests include exploration of the Wnt signaling
pathway, integrins and myeloproliferative disorders and
he has numerous publications reflective of his clinical
and laboratory work. He is fluent in English and Telugu.
